This project began with the kind invitation of project Chão to work with the empty space and industrial debris of an ancient printer house, nowadays, the Lx Factory rental office space. After several trips to the space in order to explore its acoustic capabilities, some of them during the night, we gathered metal and wood objects, debris from the ancient machinery, that were thought as sound generators for the presentation day. Also field recordings and images were collected. The performance was held during the night in the space itself with lots of public surrounding the performance area. We used all the materials and sounds in a cathartic way, as workers liberating an old memory, stucked deep in those walls, a industrial frenesin. We banged, scrubed, pintched metal objects, large tubes on the floor, small metal wires, large wooden boxes, all with field recordings filling the air, illuminating the dark room with head light lamps.
