8 channel audio Installation, 2009
This sound installation recreates in a poetic manner the ancient myth of the Suspended Gardens of Mesopotamia by linking the concret space of the Museu Berardo garden (Jardim de Água) with a sound walk of variable geometry. Inviting the listener to wonder around the garden experiencing sounds and relating those to the visual aspect of the space and surrounding soundscape. Composed out of natural sounds side-by-side with digital sound manipulation and electronic sound, it emphasizes the aspect of space and creates a web of meanings that evolves through time in a immersive manner. Sound changes the garden's fisical bounderies.
